Members and Guests,
Those who played at the course in 2022 hopefully recall that we held rates flat from 2021. Revenues were up in 2020 and 2021 and we felt a zero price increase was a nice way saying thank you to our loyal members & guests for their support.
We are, however, going to implement a rate increase for the 2023 season. The main economic drivers that necessitate this are the cost of fuel, pesticides, and fertilizer. Some of the products we use have doubled in price in just a couple years.
The other main spike in our operating costs is the minimum wage. In 2019 the minimum wage in CT was $10.10. In June of 2023 it goes to $15.00 Because all of our starters, rangers, pro shop staff and cart/range kids are paid hourly, we accrue over 16,000 hours annually.
In simple terms, all of our daily green fees have been moved up by $2. Riding cart fees are also up $2. If you play 18 holes and ride, you will pay $4 more than you did in 2022.
Since platinum memberships carry a $0 greens fee, the cost of platinum memberships is up $100. The cost of silver and gold memberships remain the same. 2023 rates have been posted on our website. 2023 Rates
We plan to begin membership sales and renewals on Saturday, March 18. Pro shop hours will be daily from 9-3 until the course opens in early April. 2023 Memberships
Looking forward to a great season in ’23!
